Once you have completed your online course and acquired your permit from the DPS, you will be able to take your Road Test with Travis Driving School the same day, an authorized third party testers to avoid the long wait at DPS.
Requirements for your driving test are:
- $80 for the same day DPS Road Test.
- Learners Permit
- Unexpired Impact Texas Drivers Video Certificate (expires after 90 days from the issue date). You must watch the Teen Impact Drivers Ed Video if you have obtained your permit while under 18 years old.
When you pass your road test, the driving school will provide you your test results in a sealed envelope. You would then need to submit the envelope and your permit at the DPS to receive your Drivers License.
